Fully compliant FD30S composite fire door system
Nu Openings are suppliers and installers of fire rated doors. We offer a fully compliant FD30S composite fire door system which meets the requirements of Approved Document B, underpinned by a third-party certification scheme to regulate, control and deliver product consistency.
All stages of the supply chain up to and including doorset manufacture are third-party certified to the BM Trada Q-Mark Fire Door Manufacturer certification scheme.
How is this achieved?
- 44 individual test specimens were subject to 22 bi-directional fire tests
- All independently tested to EN1634-1:2014 by UKAS or EU approved test laboratories
- Test specimens were installed in both rigid and flexible supporting wall construction
- Solid and glazed door leafs, with or without overhead fanlights were tested
- All doorsets were tested with letter plates, viewers and door closers included
- All featured auto-throw locks
Performance
- Ambient smoke control to EN1634-3:2004 – satisfying Approved Document B
- PAS24:2022 / Document Q – a prerequisite for Secured by Design accreditation
- Impressive air and water leakage performance, tested to BS6375
- Thermal performance of 1.6 W/m²K unglazed and 1.8 W/m²K glazed – Document L approved
- The complete doorset is fully compliant for external use
